The POLOS® UC410 is a precision spray coating system for implantable stents, especially for arterial stents by using patented ultrasonic spray coating technology. lt can penetrate complex stent geometries, ensure full coverage of all surfaces without webbing, save spray material, etc.
Ultrasonic spray coating systems have been widely used for deposition of anti-restenosis polymers onto the surfaces of implantable stents. Compared to conventional air nozzles, ultrasonic spray nozzles are able to make more uniform coatings fully covered on complex stent geometries.
